Prenatal Yoga

A class specifically designed to support birthing parent and baby throughout the changes of pregnancy. It is a safe and effective way to care for yourself during pregnancy and prepare for childbirth. Gently stretch and strengthen your body, increase your energy and vitality through mindful movement and yoga postures. In addition, cultivate your capacity to breathe freely, release tension, relax deeply, learn labor coping techniques and birthing positions that support optimal fetal positioning. This class is designed to help birthing persons develop trust in themselves and in their ability to give birth. Come and enjoy the support of other pregnant expecting parents while you nurture yourself and your relationship with your baby! (75 minutes)

Baby Yoga Moves

Parents and Caregivers learn baby exercises and yoga poses to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns and help your infant towards the next stage of development. Great for bonding, too! For babies that are 6 weeks through new walkers. (30 minutes)

New Beginnings

Foundations for the Postpartum Body offers new parents fundamental understanding on how to effectively recover from pregnancy and birth by safely easing back into their body. Recommended minimum 3-5 New Beginnings Foundation classes to reacquaint with pelvic floor and core muscles to support posture, strengthen, stabilize and progress into other classes with confidence. (60 minutes)

Baby & Me Yoga

This class is designed to nurture your bond between parent and baby, fight off "baby blues," improve your posture, stretch and relax as you let go of all the aches and pains of the postpartum body, strengthen and tone particularly abdominals and pelvic floor muscles, increase your energy, learn relaxation techniques, introduce yourself to a parenting community and bond with your baby. Pre-crawling babies only. (60 minutes)

Parent & Child Yoga

Enjoy a fun and loving way to bond with your child and create healthy habits to last a lifetime through imaginative play, yoga asana (postures), breath awareness, creative movement, songs and play. Parents and caregivers can learn yoga tools to help your child increase listening and motor coordination, improve sleep, reduce tantrums and have better self-expression and higher self-esteem. Parent and Child classes are taught in age appropriate classes for Tots (crawlers - 18 months) and Tykes (18 months - 3 years of age). (30 minutes)

I find Prenatal class to be very relaxing and walk away with a wonderful sense of well-being. I love the pace of the class and the combination of slow, relaxing poses with guidance from Marnie. I sleep extremely well after class. I also found it to be an important time to help bond with my baby. With a 2-year-old at home, I have not been able to spend as much time bonding with this baby as I did when I was pregnant with my first. So this was a very special time for me to set some time aside to focus on the baby.
